Where the hell have I been?

I obviously haven't been posting here much lately. What can I say, it's been a busy couple months. But now my runs on WOLVERINE and PUNISHERMAX are both wrapped, and SCALPED is almost there as well. And I'll soon be done with my work on AVENGERS VS. X-MEN. After that, I'll be down to just INCREDIBLE HULK and WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN. At least for a while. But I can't say anything more about that.

I hope to start writing here more in the coming weeks. Since my CBR column wrapped up last year, I haven't had a place to pour my thoughts, what few there are. So in other words expect some rants about football and hillbilly music in the very near future.

One thing I have been doing a lot of lately is running my mouth in front of cameras. I sat down with the MTV cameras at C2E2 to talk about AvX for their ongoing behind-the-scenes series called "War Journals." And more recently, a crew came out to my house and filmed me in my office, babbling about comics and showing off my wife's skull collection, and even followed me to the comic store and to Oklahoma Joes BBQ. It was definitely as close as I'll ever come to having my own reality show.

Thank God for that.

Here's a bit of me babbling at C2E2:

Nice to have you back. And the beard's shaping up nicely, too...

Hey Jason! Thanks for coming back and posting an update. With all the Phoenix talk that is going around, I was curious if you managed to sneak any references to your Dark Phoenix Wolverine creation from Astonishing Spider-Man and Wolverine mini series? If not would you be interested in referencing or perhaps even revisiting that moment in the future? I really enjoyed that mini series a lot. You really nailed Wolverine and Spider-Man's relationship. I really hope you get another chance to revisit it, because it was the best mini series ever.

Welcome back indeed. So any idea when we get to see this other video that was recently shot? I'd be curious to see that.
