My New Gig

WOLVERINE: WEAPON X. A new ongoing series with art by Ron Garney. This is my biggest assignment yet for Marvel, and I plan on making the most of it. Look for me to stick around on this one for a nice long run.

Here's my interview with Newsarama.

And editor John Barber's interview at Marvel.com.

That Wolverine. His stories must be told!

But I'm still a little disappointed he wasn't the new Captain America.

I'm only a little excited about this gig for you. The rest of me is cursing your name. Jason Aaron = the only person EVER to get me excited about having a Wolverine book on my pull list.

Congrats man!

I love what you did with Garney on Wolverine and was super bummed that it came to a halt. Your collaboration brought that special something to Garney's work that hadn't been seen since his original run on Captain America. I'm looking forward to the reunion.

BTW, Scalped is amazing. It's the only comic I currently read that I get completely immersed in. From issue to issue (especially the ones Guera is drawing) I get so wrapped up in the story that I no longer see panels. I see living, breathing, tragic, beautiful people.

Keep up the amazing work, man!

Hey,
Jason, my name is Quintin Imler, also living in Missouri. I was checking out comic conventions and saw your name came up for Hurley Con. I really enjoyed get Mystique and I was wondering if you had any other reading suggestions that you've written for me?

Start with SCALPED and THE OTHER SIDE. Those are my favorite things I've ever written. But I'm fortunate in that I haven't done anything I'm embarrassed by. Not yet at least.
