that omnibus looks crazy and awesome. i already have almost all the single issues though...
You know, I could easily see Wolverine leaving the X-Men at the end of Schism and just focusing his energy on X-Force, Avengers, solo work, team-ups w/ Spiderman, or Punisher + Ghost Rider, ect, ect. Kind of like when Batman bailed on the Justice League. That was a defining moment in that teams history.
And I’m digging the Punisher in jail. I know it’s been done, before but I’m really enjoying the set up. I could see Frank using it as an opportunity to just mow down all of these serial killers, child molesters, and other convicts with life sentences that he normally would not have access too and the mood shift from “All of us prisoners are out to get you” to “We’re all stuck here with a psycho that’s mowing us down” and having gang bosses paying millions of dollars in bribes to get transferred to another jail because if you’re in jail w/ Frank you’re eventually going to die.
I also wonder what his relationship with his court appointed lawyer is gonna be like, because you know Frank is going to have lots of court appointed legal representation in his lifetime.
Jason, I owe you an apology. I've been reading (and not truly appreciating) your Spidey/Wolverine mashup, when I came across the "Diamonds on the souls of my shoes" reference in issue #5, which totally caused me to crack-up, as Graceland is one of my all-time favorite albums. Thanks much for making my day.
How bringing Sniper in from Frank's early days since Punisher is going back to his Vietnam days.
